I think the force feedback is meant to be simulated realistically, so I guess a real Ka-50 pilot wont feel any shake on his cyclic while firing the canon.

But in the game, in FFB tune, there is an option for configure the grade of shake effects, for that reason i do not understand that. Greets. Mat.

As far as I know, you should get something at least.

Don't quote me but i'm fairly sure firing a 30mm canon would develop quite a kick in the flight controls of a helicopter as "small" as the Ka-50. There's something strange going on, check windows control panel/game controllers and check for any settings that may prevent shake effects. I know with my FFB steering wheel you can disable certain effects from the control panel in windows.

I agree, 30mm canon is a big weapon and have a big recoil but, ED has implemented that in the sim?...

and another effects like air causing resistence on the rotor blades with high cyclic pitch?... or the wheels touching the ground when landing?... bullets hitting the helicopter?...

There is a lot of effects to feel.

FFB tested in other sims and all working fine.

Greets.

It was mentioned some weeks ago that flight controls are connected only to boosters not to the gun... there are no reasons while hydraulics is on to have any shaking or forces except spring forces.

The shaking some people consider as a "reality" is really an arcade effect.

Roger, no shake effects on the sim but...

Example: in one car, the steering wheel is conected only to the hidraulic servo systems, but you feel the vibrations when closing door, when listen music, engine running...etc.

For my, these vibrations are information, no arcade effects.

IMHO

I forgett: about shake slider in the options menu?...function?

That's right but these vibration come to you not from steering wheel movement (rotation). The good mean to have vibration is a device like buttkicker feeding with special output from the game engine. Then you have rotor vibration/recoil, etc. coming from the right place.

If you begin to shake stick you insert not native inputs in your controls (autopilot loop, gun steering loop, Shkval stabilisation loop). They are working hard fighting with native recoil and do you want to "help" them by this strange FFB? :)
