Davx Posted September 28, 2022 Posted September 28, 2022 I have a WW Orion F-18 Joystick. When in DCS, the X and Y axis are inverted. This is for every aircraft. I can go into axis tune in control settings and click on the "invert" button and the problem is corrected, but shouldn't have to do that. Anyone else have this problem? Did I assemble the joystick incorrectly?
Phantom711 Posted September 28, 2022 Posted September 28, 2022 Hi… I do not own the Orion stick, but… Did you actually have to do any „assembly“ other than plugging the stick onto the base? If so…then theoretically you could have connected a plug the wrong way around, but even that is rather unlikely since they should normally be designed in a way, that you cannot do that. Other than that, I would say, the invert box is there for a good reason. Just live with it and enjoy the game. vCVW-17 is looking for Hornet and Tomcat pilots and RIOs. Join the vCVW-17 Discord.
Davx Posted September 29, 2022 Author Posted September 29, 2022 Thanks. Just plugged it in to the base. I'm living with it. Just another step in setting up flight controls.
KoN Posted November 5, 2022 Posted November 5, 2022 (edited) PS2 connection can some times be fragile. Yes they do line up but most of the time they are not marked to aline connection. I would check for bent pins and reinsert . Is this Orion one or two . Can also calibrate in simapp .
