opformaster Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 I just realized I had a n52 sitting in a box, so I dug it it and hooked it up. Anyone else flying with one of these and have a map set up for it? This is how Im setting up mine: Normal will cover the Abris , IRCM deployment , laser warning pushlight and other cockpit warning pushlights. Red shift will control the targeting mode control panel. Green shift will handle IRCM programing functions, radar altitude safe limit set and possibly landing lights Blue shift covers the PRTz datalink panel on the over head. IRC When possible I am trying to keep the button layout on the n52 as they are in the cockpit. The IRCM deployment function is retained throughout all shift modes. I will post a copy when I get the kinks worked out. Slayer Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 Thats a pretty good idea. I never used my N52 for much more than FPS games...shelved it when I bought the X52Pro. That would work great for a DIY cockpit also. Are you having any kind of conflicts with your CH software or anything? I've always wondered if 2 devices that send keyboard and have programing could peacfully coexist and both be usable. opformaster Posted January 7, 2009 Author Posted January 7, 2009 look at my sig im running 2 CH products, 1 Logitech, and the N52. The n52 is mapped to the keyboard so its totally separate from BS. The CH control manager is directx map with a few KB maps here and there. The logitech currently just does cyclic x&y plus FFB but i have plans to add the brake and a set of rudder pedals.
