Yes, though the DCS NS430 is somewhat limited compared to the real.

This Grim Reapers video should get you started.

If I was to make a video - what sort of flight plan are you thinking of, a simple flight to a FARP/target area ?
If so, I'd normally program both the NADIR and the NS430 with the same WPTs.

The NS430 has the advantage of not being limited to 9 waypoints but the numeric bearings it gives don't always match with game's Magnetic/True unlike the NADIR, etc.

What map do you usually fly on (as the Caucasus has some MagVar peculiarities) ?

Not sure what you mean, the NADIR can store 9 waypoints 1-9.

1. Set the NADIR mode switch to BUT
2. Type the number of the waypoint you wish to fly to (or edit)
3. Press ENT (enter) to edit the waypoint co-ordinates
(When the co-ordinates flash, the Waypoint info can be edited),
4. new data can be entered by using the EFF button to erase the old info
5. the "down arrow" on the NADIR keypad is used to switch between fields

By default unused waypoints will have the starting/spawn co-ordinates i.e. if there was no mission flight plan.

Here I've spawned at Batumi and edited WPT 2 to have Kobuleti's co-ordinates

Screen_221009_130328.jpg

• The HSI shows WPT 2 (Kobuleti) is at 19°M (25°T) and is 42.2 km (this is accurate)
• While the NS430 shows a UG5X direct-to of 23°M and 22.7 Nm (42.0 km)

This is an example of the True/Magnetic issue when using the NS430 on the Caucasus map that I spoke of.

Note: The NS430's course deviation is accurate, you just can't rely on it's precise course heading even without any wind in the mission

IIRC this older video is still current and should help using the NADIR (the NADIR section starts at 11:36).
