Which AIM-54 to use for low to mid altitude engagement ?

Hello,

 

Im starting to learn the F14 and i was wondering which AIM-54 variant should I use for low to mid altitude and short to medium range engagement (< 20Nm) ? I mostly fly on the GS server where most of the fighting are WVR in the valleys but i'm quite lost between the Mk47 vs MK60 and the A versus C

Keep in mind this is very bad case for using AIM-54 unless in a chase situation.

Motor version (47 vs 60) shouldn't matter much performance wise. Take C for better CCM, less smoke (47) and ability to go active on its own.
