Where to download the drivers for your MIP MFD screens ? (your link is dead)

Hello Winwing.

I am trying to finalize the installation of the whole MIP.  I am trying to activate the mini monitors in SIMAPP pro, but when I do, it tells me to install the drivers for the monitors and extend the windows desktop to them.

the link provided to download such drivers is the following :

https://resistor.com/static/assets/files/en/MFD Display Driver.zip

only problem, it is dead.

can you tell us where to get the drivers so we can have the display inside the MFDS ? that would be great !

thanks

good news. drivers work ! Thank you !

Now, ive tried the winwing solution to activate but it isnt working too well.

I think im just gonna create my new monitor setup again, and export all my MFDS to the right place like I used to do before. That will also allow me to have other planes displays displayed such as the F-14 or even the F-5 !

Everything works, BUT, the numbers in the UFC.

I see you did not manage to get the numbers to input into the UFC either, correct ? wonder what we are missing

UFC does work for me.null

Did you bind your buttons on the UFC, this is needed to get the input recognized?

You can also try clicking a button in-game and see if you get data on your WW UFC.

my buttons works fine (not bound into DCS yet though). what i dont get from the UFC is the digital displays showing freq etc.

aside from having the winwing line into the export.lua, anything else you did ?

my other issue is that it takes forever for sim app pro to show all my devices in there.. DO you have this issue ?

UFC probably uses the export lua scripts, double check those are not commented out or old (you can use the settings->repair lua script I think to get fresh ones from WW).

I do not have that issue with devices loading slowly in SimApp. Do you have powered USB hubs? I ran into an issue where I had a 7 port usb hub, but one of my MFDs didn't work when all the usbs were plugged into a single hub. I fixed by reducing the load on the single usb hub. Perhaps this is related? But just a guess

Would you please copy your export.lua line for winwing ? I have the old one, and i am not sure it is still working properly.

local wwtlfs=require('lfs');dofile(wwtlfs.writedir()..'Scripts/wwt/wwtExport.lua')

currently all my MIPs (all 7 USBs) plugged into the same USB powered HUB, while my Orion and TO and Combat panel are on another one.

I can try splitting the MIP over 2 different ones though, see if it changes anything.

Thanks for your help again. I just browsed you big topic and already change the

All the needed fps changes are standard in Winwing scripts now, no need to manually tweak/edit! I would delete the wwt folder folder from Scripts, run the "SimAppPro->settings->repair lua" to get the fresh ones (that perhaps have new logic to handle the UFC?)

Well, all works now. I restored the Export.lua

the Only thing creating problem now is sim app pro needing like 5-10min to show all the devices and being usable.

5am here. Gonna go get some sleep and finish tomorrow. Thanks a lot for all your support Prestonflying !
