Reusenfisch Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 Pilots! I am having an issue with tuning radio freqs with VAICOM PRO. VAICOM doesnt recognized the number behind the dezimal. I can tune for example 127.00 but not 127.55. I see the freq is recognized but there is no line in VA that says select 127.55 with the purple dot in front. It is the F16 module. Any thoughts? Lt_Jaeger Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 (edited) Yeap, you have to do the full number after the decimal. It would be fine to say Tune radio 127. 0 but you have to use Tune radio 127.550 Edited October 24, 2022 by Lt_Jaeger 1
Reusenfisch Posted October 24, 2022 Author Posted October 24, 2022 AHHH, the manual says that use: select xxx decimal xx. So it is a 3 digit number behind the dezimal? Isnt the command select? Just curious since you stated tune. Does it have something to do with easy radio? I love this community....

I guess it just got mixed up with Jester/AIRIO, there you use tune as a keyword.
Reusenfisch Posted October 24, 2022 Author Posted October 24, 2022 Thank you, but it must be a 3 digit number behind the dezimal right?? One other short question... How do I turn EASY comms off in vaicom? It always says EASY comm ON??

Don't really remember, because I don't use it to much. The modules it's handy in doesn't support the feature. I use "select channel x" for presets, and I guess I say "select 269 decimal 0" when it's no trailing decimals, but "select 131 decimal 550" ie. 9 minutes ago, Blutpumpe said: How do I turn EASY comms off in vaicom? It always says that when you are not in a mission. Try checking from within a mission that has easy comms off.
