Bastlwastl Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 Hey Guys, maybe a stupid question but how have you set up you your comm buttons in the helicopters? With fixed wings i prefer it to have them all on my throttle, but i am not sure how it‘s best with the helos, as they‘re mostly on the stick. Do you use the same buttons for all helos or do you try to mimic the real controls (i do as far it is possible) for the comms? Thanks!
MAXsenna Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 I use VAICOM, so I basically have different setups for each aircraft, and for the Hind, Huey and Hip I use the trigger stage 1 for ICS, and stage two for radio. Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk
Lange_666 Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 (edited) I have set them up on the MIC switch (Thrustmaster Warthog, script), for every heli and airplane the same, only depending on how much radio's the heli/airplane has (same goes for other functions). Big advantage at my age: only have to remember it once. PS: i don't care about mimicing real controls, for that you need a full copy of the cockpit. Bastlwastl Posted November 10, 2022 Author Posted November 10, 2022 Thanks, i will also try to keep it the same switch for every aircraft, makes sense!
