not a bug MISSION 6: AAR Part

Unfoetunately because of a recently mishap with Viacom Pro, I had to restart the mission at the AAR part.

If you choose at the beginning of the mission to skip ahead to the AAR with the F10 menu, you start with full tanks when approaching the tanker. Maybe reconsider giving the player like 60% fuel so one can practice staying with the tanker and refueling a bit more, than just a few pounds.

...and the mentioned A/A TACAN which doesn't work that way at the moment, which shouldn't be a campaign issue, but more a DCS design. Whichever is the right way to set up, once decided, it should be represented in the campaign. But I read that some C130 guy mentioned A/A TACAN is used for AAR, ED says it's not used with AAR.

I cant seem to contact the tanker on the radio, It seems its probably broken because of updates and stuff.
is there any workaround?

For future reference, it's working fine. Do not forget to put the ARC-210 radio on the correct AM freq.

After refueling nothing happens, no communication at all...I manage thru the waypoints and landed but camping was a Draw....weird.

I suspect some user error with the radios, happens a lot with the new ARC-210. In 99% of the cases something is wrong with the settings / frequencies. But if it happens again, try to save a track and let me know.

How long do I have to refuel in the AAR part in order that the script continues? I manage to draw fuel for several seconds (5-10) multiple times but I BIFF seems to be not happy with my performance

I thought maybe if I manage to have a complete refuel but not sure. And yeah, the TACAN is still bonkers so I locate the tanker using the F10 map.

Anyways, loving the campaign.

Completed this campaign Tuesday this week. Presume you mean mission 6 - flew this particular mission over the weekend successfully (after 3or4 attempts cos I kept scuffing the ils landing). You do not have to completely refuel or actually even refuel at all (even without using the short cuts at mission start). Provided biff has told you that you can finish refuelling at any time with the F10 menu. You then have option to finish refuel with it by communicating to biff with the FM radio. The tacan works fine provided you set 10X and T/R (not A/A setting).  What makes you think biff is unhappy with you?  Maybe you missed a trigger zone somewhere after the flight reversionary checks? On one attempt,  had biff stop talking to me cos I had not hit space bar prior to starting refuelling, meant I never got the F10 menu option to finish refuel. By the time I had caught up I had missed a couple more checks and mission never caught up with me, got no tower messages. I landed but never got mission complete .Maybe you have done something similar.

By "Biff not being happy" I just meant that the mission does not continue because I am obviously missing some trigger/threshold.

I probably just missed the point about using the F10 menu to abort refuelling. Thanks.
