S-3 invisible at night

The lights aren't visible until 0.1nm and even then it's still practically invisible even with half or full moon nights. This shot is from almost precontact position and you still can barely make out the left wing light, looking more like a star 5,000 lightyears away. Basket is also pitch-black and probe light does not illuminate it until nearly plugged up.
