DTWD Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Is it just me or does anyone else have serious problems with the AI Wingmen and FPS rates? Whenever a wingman is in the air with me I can feel the game stuttering, if I follow one into land (even if it's already down and shutdown) I am in a slide show! Whenever a wingman isn't there I get (virtually) never drop below 25FPS, the wingman comes along and at times I can be below 10FPS. Is it just me, is it a known issue, is there a fix, or will it be patched? Regards [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Kwill Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Other Ka-50s slow down your frame rate yes, I guess that's because of the extra polygons it has to render and stuff.
DTWD Posted January 12, 2009 Author Posted January 12, 2009 Well no I don't think it is because I don't get any slowdown (noticable anyway) when playing multiplayer, it is purely the AI wingmen. Regards [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Same here I always get 17-25fps with just 1 wingman and 37-43fps when he was shot down But, no fps slow down with 4 or 6 AI Ka-50s on the parking area +_+ Edited January 12, 2009 by Majesco
DTWD Posted January 15, 2009 Author Posted January 15, 2009 Is there any sort of official line on this? I thought the AI was supposed to be basic so it can't be taking up that many cpu cycles can it? Regards [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
