VR headset briefly goes solid blue, then solid black.

My setup: i7 10700KF, 64 gb of DDR4, RTX2080ti Hybrid, HP Reverb G2 v2 Cable.

I think I experienced this problem before 2.8, but I'm not certain of that. It happens to me every session now, at least once. And sometimes video will return to the headset, but most of the time it does not.

What I'm doing when it happens most: Hitting F2 cycling through other players then returning to my own cockpit with F1, or looking at the F10 map, panning around providing GCI for friends and then hitting F1 to return to the cockpit view, the game and sound will pause, the VR screens turn blue, then they turn black. I'll lift the headset, and the VR mirror window on my monitor is stuttering quite a bit, then it levels out, but the headset remains black.

On occasion the headset video will return, I think that depends on how quickly the stutters stop and.

I increased my page file to 32gb, that didn't help.

Is this an issue confined to the Reverb G2, or are others experiencing the same symptoms

@Flappie My current issue.

I had several blue then black moments last night, some quite long, but video returned each time. I am trying to get it to stay so I can get you a log file.

Also, texture loading takes forever after 2.8, I spawn in an get water world for sometimes over 1 minute, and even the map is dark colors and no land is populated. Both of those used to be instantaneous for me. I only bring this up because I suspect the blue screen issue is related to textures loading.

Thank you. I don't see anything weirdin the logs.

Your Windows is quite old by the way (Windows NT 10.0.19042, decembre 2020). You should consider an update.
