OBS Recording

I apologise in advance. 
 

Since the update, OBS can’t detect the DCS.exe so instead I get a black box. The first time I tried it, I managed to get a picture, but the video feed was frozen. Restarted OBS, and now all I get is a black box. Have tried restarting both OBS and DCS to no avail.

not sure if this is an OBS or DCS issue, so I am posting here. Apologies if this is not DCS related.

I used the latest OBS version a few days ago with 2.8 and had no such issue. Is your OBS up-to-date?

Have you set DCS as Game or as Window Capture?

Had the same problem and tried everything else until I fixed it by updating the GPU drivers. Suggesting to check if yours are up to date.
None of the fixes mentioned here or on other topics helped me, but GPU driver fixed the problem.
