LowGlow Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 I have a push button linked to the Tomcat's AP Toggle binding. My understanding is that each time the hardware button is pushed, it would toggle the AP Enabled flip switch on the left side of the autopilot cockpit panel. However that binding only reliably enables the AP Enable switch. Flipping that switch back to off does often not work that way, no matter how many times I push the hardware button, the AP Enabled flip switch would remain in its enabled position. I first thought that this was probably intentional, like that the AP could not be disabled under circumstances. But when I point click on the virtual AP Enable flip switch it always reliably pulls it back into its off position. So I guess something is wrong with the binding. For reproducing: this problem occurs to me reliably when the Tomcat is still on the ground. In the air it often works, but sometimes it also stops to work there. I haven't figured out what makes it to stop working in the air.
The_Tau Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 On the ground I agree, you cant disengage it with binding In the air it works though, make sure all SAS switches are on Tau's Youtube channel Twitch channel https://www.twitch.tv/the0tau
draconus Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 It's been bugged for months. If you touch SAS switches the AP bind stops working. If you click it - it works and so will the binding again. 1 Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria
