Hi guys,

I had a " Input device TrackIR unplugged/ plugged " warning during gameplay after 2.8. update and i had major fps drops even sometimes crashes. I am using AMD 5600X ,RTX 3080, B550 mother board. My reverb g2 VR arrived with old connection cable, what ever i did was not enough to get a new V2 cable from HP supports. I was really thinking about to sale the VR but finally i found out the cheapest solution. null

I bought a " Pcı Express Pcı-E 2X Usb 3.0 Type C 3.1 " card (any card will do it's job but i recommend you to buy a one with C type port) it was around 18$ these days. I  am adding a link from my country but you can buy any of it from anywhere just be sure it is 3.0. or 3.1. not 2.0.

When i disconnect reverb G2 type C cable from my motherboard and connected it to this PCI express port's C type entry all of my disconnecting problems solved. And i saved lots of dollars from buying a V2 cable.

After that i will  suggest you to watch 2 youtube videos for good view and good fps. Which is SIMHANGER videos.

And using OPENXR TOOLKIT

Briefly these 2 videos explain how to boost your fps and how to shutdown unnecessary stuff like mirror image ( i am %100 sure now lots of you guys dont know what is the mirror image...dont worry he explain everyting).

Always make your Upscale changes from OpenXR toolkit, not from windows or steam vr. According to my config i am using upscaling in FSR mode and %100 upscale on DCS. That gives me always over 45 FPS and amazing clear view that i have never seen before. In microsoft flight sim i have to lower the upscale from %100 to 75 to get over 45 fps.

Shortly saying without buying V2 cable i just bought pci express card and watch these 2 videos solved all my problems in DCS 2.8. and AMD motherboard- reveb g2 connection problems.

I hope these help you some.........
