How to disable excessive bloom glow HDR?

Whatever the name is, there's far too much of it. Is there a way to disable the effect?

LOW settings preset mostly

nVidia GTX 970

 

I was hoping that by toning it down I could also solve the "nuclear sun" effect on cockpit main panel.

I've noticed there's a

options = {
	["VR"] = {
		["bloom"] = true,

in options.lua

I tried snatching it, changing to false and putting it in the [graphics] section but the only thing I got was complete loss of options.lua. There was no fallback/ignore mechanism. The file got cleared out.

Trying it out seems to be a good idea since the readme does mention bloom. Also it gives out the location of the possible culprit \Bazar\shaders\deferred\bloom.fx

Man, I miss the days where you could simply delete Lock On/DCS poor shader files. Flares, overcast...
