New Mission "BLOODY BAMBORA" ftp server fixed!

Hello,

Here is Dragon's latest 6 Player Milti-Player COOP Mission.

The ftp server is fixed, you should get no attack errors from the download.

BLOODY BAMBORA 6 Player COOP for Black Shark

 

 

Scope:

German forces have entered the town of Achkatsa. (Town marked at point of Blue Arrow).

Units from the German 3rd Armor Division have taken control of the area N-E of Bamora. Groud Troops and Armor placements have entered the area N-E of the Fire-Zone.

Numbers are not accurate, but expected to be HEAVY.

 

 

Russia has had a high number of casualties in this conflict.

T72 Armor groups are in attack at the Fire Zone to push Germany back.

Ka50 Attack Group is to follow waypoints to enemy zones N-E of the Airbase and DESTROY any German resistance in the waypoint 2-3 area's.

 

Intel:

You are Ka50 Attack Group Dragon Slayer-Unit-# 56 out of Bambora Airbase.

Attack on Russian front has been hostile.

6 Ka50 Black Sharks are loaded and fueled up for Attack.

German forces have moved into Achkatsa, and have taken over Civilian Control. AAA have been spotted in this location.

Germany is on the move to Bambora to take control of the City.

Fire up your Ka50 Black Shark with Attack Group Unit Dragon Slayer 56.

Follow waypoints on the Map to intercept ground assault outside of Bambora.

Follow WAYPOINTS through-out the mission.

TAKE YOUR TIME!!!

 

Fuel: Combat Load

Weapons: Any Armor Loadout recommended.

Ka50's is FULLY LOADED for Ground Assult.

Wait for the mission to load, it takes a bit, but it will be worth the wait.

ps- one question though. The file name includes "EASY" ? Does this mean easy flight mode? If so is there two versions?

I just started the hosting the mission. but soon after take off I noticed a diffenece in the flight model. I think it is saved EASY Flight model. :doh:

It is EASY flight. Most of my missions are easy flight. I can start placing EASY and FULL Real missions together in a zip.

Hope you still like the mission.

I edited it to realistic but when i hosted it i found players were dropping off before the download completed probably thinking the server was hung. I think with the flow of custom missions coming this game, there is need for a web map resource, so players can grab what they need quickly and dive into the action.

 

ps- My comments arnt a critique of the map, its just a server observation.

Great mission you made, it's all action right from the off and plenty of targets, and love the Ride of the Valkyries at the start, it sets the mood :).

Can this be played single player? If not, which server is hosting this map?

To play any Multi-Play missions as single mission. You can do this:

Start DCS Black Shark multiplayer.

On the game screen for Multi-Play, click on "Server"

Create your server info, password it if you don't want anyone to join.

Select a mission from your mission list.

Start the mission, select a Ka50 and fly the sim.

You won't have any Ka50 support, you will be the Lone Ranger out there.

But you can fly the mission this way, if it isn't a single player mission.

Thanks Dragon. I actually went into mission editor and added 3 AI wingman and played it single player. Works pretty well as a single player mission too!
