504smudge Posted December 17, 2022 Posted December 17, 2022 I’ve noticed recently an issue (possibly) with the BS3, KA-50, the indicated airspeed on the HUD seems really slow to update. The IAS can take 5-10 seconds for it to indicate airspeed change. I’m really not sure if this is a bug or feature. Eagles may soar but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines. https://www.youtube.com/user/504smudge https://www.facebook.com/504smudge
Volk. Posted December 18, 2022 Posted December 18, 2022 I'm assuming it's some form of lag as it calculates the ground speed. Airspeed is indicated on the dashboard gauge. For Black Shark tutorials, visit my channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-LgdvOGP3SSNUGVN95b8Bw
Solution Schlomo1933 Posted January 5, 2023 Solution Posted January 5, 2023 (edited) Not a Bug. In the hud is the calculated ground speed. And it is only possible to calculate when u are in the limits for the ground Dopplerradar. Pitch and bank within +/- 10 degree . your indicated airspeed is shown in shkval or on the speed gauge on the left of the front panel. But this is only working iff you fly faster than 50 kph . If u are slower than 50kph it’s not accurate and will show 000. please read the manual and fly the training missions. Instead of filling the Bug Forum with “bugs” that are just Usermistakes. That makes it really hard for the mods to find the real bugs. Edited January 5, 2023 by Schlomo1933 1
