Converting BS2 campaigns to BS3

Has anyone managed to convert the BS2 campaigns to BS3? I would like to play the BS2 campaigns again, but with the BS3. The two "mod" campaigns, Pandemic and Republic, I've found the missions for, you can load them in the editor and change the starting aircraft from a KA-50 to a KA-50III, but cant save the changes. Must be a hidden read only tab somewhere I've yet to find.

As for the other BS2 campaigns that are included with the game, yet to find these, but I suspect same issue will occur. 

Anyone managed to find a work around or do we have to wait for the campaigns to be officially converted?

Commercial campaigns have triggers etc encrypted  so you cannot save them via the editor. 

You should be able to load the individual missions into the editor, change the aircraft type and then select fly.

Or edit the mission file inside of each miz (they just a renamed zip file) and change
   ["type"] = "Ka-50"
   to   
   ["type"] = "Ka-50_3".

Yeah, that worked. Thanks. I had already sussed out how to fly them within the editor. Copied the campaign to my saved campaigns edited the file within the miz file (wasnt aware they were just renamed rar/zip files, that was a great help), and its now playing as it should, as a campaign, but with the BS3

Hey there, I'm looking for the same thing. Could you give me a bit more detail on how to edit the rar/zip files? I've never done this before
