gdotts Posted December 20, 2022 Posted December 20, 2022 My Rig...Geforce 1080Ti 11GB, AMD Rysen 5 3500, 32GB Ram, 3440x1440 monitor. At a distance I see straight lines moving or pulsing along the line. Any thoughts?
gdotts Posted December 20, 2022 Author Posted December 20, 2022 Actually it is more like 1 zig in a zig zag moving along a straight line in the distance , back and fourth slowly. It is sort of annoying!
ColinM9991 Posted December 20, 2022 Posted December 20, 2022 Any examples or screenshots? Sounds like you're just running without anti-aliasing.
Nick_17 Posted December 20, 2022 Posted December 20, 2022 Try using Anisotropic Filtering 16x and MSAA to 2x or 4x. The higher you set MSAA or SSAA the better - but they come with high performance costs 1) Asus ROG Strix Z690-A Gaming Wifi D4 / i9 13900K @ 5,5 Ghz / Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 128 GB DDR4 RAM @ 3200 Mhz / Asus ROG Strix RTX 4090 / 2 x 4 TB SSD Samsung 870 Evo / 2 x 1 TB M.2 SSD Samsung 980 Pro / Meta Quest Pro 2) Asus ROG Strix Z490-E Gaming / i9 10900K @ 4,9 Ghz / Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 64 GB DDR4 RAM @ 3200 Mhz / Asus ROG Strix RTX 3090 / 1 TB SSD Samsung 870 Evo / 500 GB M.2 SSD Samsung 980 Pro / HP Reverb G2
ColinM9991 Posted December 20, 2022 Posted December 20, 2022 What Nick said. Anti-aliasing will solve that issue but will come at a cost. This is true of every game.
