First scam alert of the year.

So here I was, out for the first time for weeks (don't ask, weeks ago) and I'm stocked on a packed tube platform in the cold, been told everything is frozen, rails, signals and the rest of the climate change shoobang, I joke "must be global warming", people laugh, British X-Mass spirit is great...

Today, I just finished to order my upgrade part 2, and slightly downgraded the original list:

Powercolor Radeon RX 7900 XT MBA 20GB , and.... Pico 4 256GB.

So OUT goes the Pimax Crystal at least for the time being, reason? I was more than happy with my G2 passed the minuscule sweet spot and the fact that it packed up, so looking at the comparisons between it and the Pico 4, the presence of a strong graphic card, even the 20GB version should provide with enough vavavoum to run it smooth at 4 K 2 X MSAA which are my requierements.

First the GPU, size mattered, I wished to retain my case and this one fits, then the VR headset; I was thinking OK It's X-Mass, you know, the Pimax is preordered, just a matter of time before it should be available after launch (13th Dec).

But NO, get word from Pimax I'll have to wait yet another month minimum IF I'm lucky so it doesn't feel like $1,599.00 is a good deal anymore, I'd better wait until those new hyper-dupper VR headset price goes down... And I can send larger boxes of chocolate to family.

So now that I commited, perhaps you guys can tell us what you think of my choices, not the high-end I first envisaged but still a proper upgrade.
