Autoupdate.cfg not found

Hi all, I updated my rig to Windows 11 and since then, when opening DCS World Beta, it tells me: autoupdate.cfg: (2) the system can not find the specified file. and exits the updater. If I run DCS directly from the .exe, it works, but obviously not the updated version... what can I do? I would really not like to re-install from scratch...
