On the AMPCD, (with no map displayed) selecting NIGHT switches on AUTO and disables Brightness control via the knob. Brightness control (NOT AUTO) should be enabled any time a mono raster display from the DMS is displayed regardless of Day or Night selection. Works fine in DAY. Thank you!!
