joojoo Posted December 24, 2022 Posted December 24, 2022 (edited) Hey to all Is there the opportunity to edit missions inside a campaign with mission editor? Thanx Edited December 24, 2022 by joojoo
King39 Posted December 24, 2022 Posted December 24, 2022 Downloaded campaigns, yes. Paid campaigns, no. They are encrypted.
joojoo Posted December 24, 2022 Author Posted December 24, 2022 In downloaded campaigns how? @King39 Thanx
King39 Posted December 24, 2022 Posted December 24, 2022 It's all done in the Mission editor. OPen the campaign folder in ME and then select the mission you want to open. Each mission is a *.miz file but can also be opened by a zipping app such as Winzip, etc. The campaign is "wrapped" by the .cmp file. The .cmp file is created in Campaign Builder (below the Mission Editor in the DCS main screen). 1
commo81 Posted February 19, 2023 Posted February 19, 2023 So I bought the "Fear the Bones Campaign" and I'm having some issues with it. Everytime I run it my F14 has 0 ammo for guns. Even if I go into mission planner before beginning and ensuring gun ammo is at 100% I still have 0 ammo during the flight. Is this a bug and how does one fix it? Also, It doesn't give me the option in mission 5 to load Mavericks or A/G missiles or even harpoons to shoot a ship. I'm a bit confused. Does the F14 not have the ability in this campaign to carry them?
DD_Fenrir Posted February 19, 2023 Posted February 19, 2023 As part of the startup routine in the F-14 you have to setup the ammo counter manually yourself; there’s ammo in the aircraft it’s just not automatically able to detect and display how much. There’s a small rotary knob below an ammo counter window on the far right side of the front instrument panel below the hook lever; set it to 670 and voila! If the gun still does not fire you forgot to switch your air source to both (right side of the cockpit by your thigh), and ensure you have selected gun on the weapon selector and that the Master Arm is on. F-14s never carried Maverick of Harpoon operationally but in reality were often called upon to strafe when they were the only asset in the AO able to respond in a timely manner.
