Error "cant find install directory, error "important files are damaged dcs_manifest.bin"

sorry for wrong topic section but i couldnt select game crash. i cut and pasted my eagle dynamic folder from my C drive to my E: it was working fine before and from what ive read i should have been able to do so. tried to run a repair it starts initalising then theres a pop up that says "cannot exsactly detect install folder! is it E:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Bin?" which it is when is press yes it says "cannot find file specifed please reinstall over exsiting folder" when i launch dcs i get "important files are damaged dcs_manifest.bin" im not sure what to do i cant find anyone else with this problem.

hello. run a repair of DCS from the Windows Start menu. unfortunately there are many of these files within DCS. what module were you trying?

i wasnt running anything i was trying to run anything i was moving the files from c drive to e

ah. i see. a repair would have fixed the problem with moving the files from one drive to another. good luck and clear skies.

thats most likely because the shortcut was pointed to incorrect folder. my shortcut is below

since you moved to E then you would need to change the shortcut
