DCS sounds and Echo 19

The sounds in DCS are the best I've ever encountered, period!
I  tried some packs from Echo 19, but noticed what I recognized as loops, so I reverted.
I saw somewhere the ED is contemplating a relationship with E19.
Must say; You don't need to do that.
Existing sounds are extraordinary as is: Absolutely unbelievable.
(Wingman, "Two" need some EQ, though. Can be nasty sounding in target rich surroundings)

You are partially wrong.

A 3rd party is working with E19 for their aircraft mudule (A-1H).

ED is continuing to work with their sounds.

 

And yes, ED sounds are amazing, F/A-18, F-16 and F-5 have the best sounds of the game, i hope to hear something like that for older modules as well.

I'd agree on what ED did with the Hornet's audio. E19 however did a great job with the Viper imho. The Tomcat is hit or miss. If Heatblur could iron out the obnoxious sound looping for the F-14, it would be great.

If you notice loops, I'd like to know which conditions and which aircraft you were flying as that's not intentional.  The goal is to create audio that is more true to life, so if you don't believe we hit the mark on something - please let us know. We rely on feedback from our community to improve audio, and through Discord or our YouTube is the best place for that.

I'd encourage anyone who is interested in more realistic sounds to give our mods a try... they are developed out of a passion for aviation, and hundreds of man-hours are put into them. The least you can do is share what you like or what you think needs work.

ED is not a direct partner, we are however providing sounds for some third parties such as Crosstail on their upcoming A-1H Skyraider module.
