t_hedlund Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 1st off awesome module! I only regret not purchasing it earlier, look forward to the variant being released. Now, I only have less than 10 hours in the jet, so I still have a bunch to learn, but on some of my longer flights I have experienced it twice where the alarm goes off and then the Altimeter, Radar and Hud shut off. The jet still flies normally until I try to land, but that is probably more a result of operator error than anything else, lol. Anyone else experience this same thing, is there something that didn't turn on or off? I'm going to go for another flight and will save the trk file. Thanks for any help on this! 1 www.tomhedlund.com Modules: A-10C, A-10CII. F-16, AV8B, F-5E, F-14, F/A-18C, P-51, BF-109, F-86, FC3, Ka-50, UH-1H, Mig-15, Mig-21, YAK-52, L-39. t_hedlund Posted January 2, 2023 Author Posted January 2, 2023 Thanks for sharing. That would explain a lot, as the 2nd time I was trying to stay with another formation, and we were in the 260-300kts for a while. Last night I flew all over Syria in the 300kts range and never had an issue. Thank you for the information! www.tomhedlund.com Modules: A-10C, A-10CII. fausete Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 In section 5.2 "Alternators ventilation" of the Aerges flight manual, you can find the regions of the envelope in which the overheating occurs. 2 3
