The0neTrueAsian Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 So we all know how Jester can just decide to roll down the windows and take a stroll from time to time. My question is can we do the same thing as the RIO in multicrew? I've been looking around but I haven't really seen anything on the topic aside from jumping in the tomcat first and disabling the pilot's ejection seat. I know about the CMD Ejection lever, but it doesn't really seem like it works as intended. draconus Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 You want to prevent the pilot from ejecting? No such option from the RIO position. Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Rift S T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria
Spurts Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 No, he wants to eject just himself and leave the pilot in a convertible. 1

How is it not working as intended? Edited January 16, 2023 by Despayre I'm not updating this anymore. It's safe to assume I have all the stuff, and the stuff for the stuff too.
Spurts Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 That no matter what it is set to both seats fire when the handles are pulled by the RIO.
The0neTrueAsian Posted January 17, 2023 Author Posted January 17, 2023 As far as I can tell, there doesn't seem to be a way to change the behavior of the ejection handle. Like Spurts said, no matter what configuration the plane is in, if the RIO pulls the handle, both players eject. I just think it would be funny if there was a way to just ditch your pilot just like Jester occasionally does. 2 CPU: i5-11600k, GPU: EVGA 3080 FTW3, RAM: 32GBs @ 3200mhz, MB: ROG Strix Z590-E Gaming WiFi, SSD: Samsung 980 Pro 1TB

It would also useful to be able to threaten to do so if the pilot misses the basket too many times (cf. 10:13 through 10:34 in this: )
Spurts Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 Love me some Fighter Fling. 2003 and 2004 were my favorite. 1
WarthogOsl Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 This is why I won't let randoms RIO for me on multiplayer.
Thisusername Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Cant speak for the ejection command working or not, but I know from having done this to a friend that you can reach around as RIO and arm/disarm the pilots ejection seat, then pull the lever regardless of if your own seat is armed or not. so depending on which seats are armed you may become a RIO in a now pilotless plane, or leave your pilot without a RIO or canopy 1
cheezit Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 PILOT: Why can't you find these @#$%! bandits? RIO: Good luck finding them yourself! *rocketjumps out of the plane*
