skypickle Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 (edited) Never flown a jet or helo IRL. Anyone here have firsthand experience in a real aircraft that is modeled in DCS? Specifically how damped does the stick feel? How much inertia is there? (Does the stick feel like you are waving a long stick?) how much of the plane’s vibration shows up as micro stick oscillation when hands off? Coota0 Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 I flew an incoming module, the OH-58D and now I fly UH-60Ls.
MiG21bisFishbedL Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 I got a little time in the L-39 and Yak-52. Reformers hate him! This one weird trick found by a bush pilot will make gunfighter obsessed old farts angry at your multi-role carrier deck line up!
skypickle Posted January 20, 2023 Author Posted January 20, 2023 so tell me about how your stick felt (giggity) 4930K @ 4.5, 32g ram, TitanPascal
Ramstein Posted October 12, 2023 Posted October 12, 2023 (edited) I didn't fly them but was in a lot of cold war aircraft either on the ground or in the air, but not a fighter in the air. Was in the USAF, SAC, TAC, and NATO. Bombers, fighters, MAC, Helos, Tankers refueling fighters in the air.
