Dave317 Posted January 26, 2023 Posted January 26, 2023 I've been using a Reverb G1 for a few years now until something went wrong with the cable and it would not start anymore. I managed to get a new cable which although it works, SteamVR kept crashing but DCS would keep running. This meant I needed to restart steamVR and then DCS all again. I thought part of my problem would be not enough power to the G1 USB so I've bought a powered USB 3.0 hub. This has made SteamVR stop crashing however every 5 minutes the headset goes blue for about 2 seconds then returns back into the sim. I've tried openXR but the FPS are way worse for me and it still does that same. Obviously the powered USB hub has made a difference but does anyone have any idea what could be causing the screen to go blue?
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted January 26, 2023 ED Team Posted January 26, 2023 Hi, are you sure its not a cable issue? I had vertical lines when my cable went faulty and some blue screens. Just something to consider. 1 Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Dave317 Posted January 26, 2023 Author Posted January 26, 2023 Possibly. The powered hub has made a difference while using the same cable which made me think it could be something else.
