About year ago, you promised us whitepaper, where you explain lot of things and roadmap of their developement as well. Where is it? This ridiculous / sad state of AMRAAMs is here for more than year. Where is the problem? I am not gonna send you tracks, you have to have thousands of tracks right now, that should be plenty of tracks to make things happen and do something with state of these weapons. Only positive update I've seen was the autopilot update of 120C, which made it somewhat better against simple split-s maneuvers inside mar. Still very bad though. Notch and desync issues are still around, no change in notch (extremely easy, you can basically notch all of your opponents amraams into the merge) and we got desync problems few updates ago. As there's already another thread for desync and I dont really have time for it now, these tracks showing 120 vs different situations. ECM is truly a joke. And barrel roll still makes defender immune to everything. Combined with MP gameplay desyncs, even without rudder input barrel roll just causes missiles to miss. 120_vs_barrel.trk 120_vs_ECM.trk 120_vs_ECM2.trk 7
Mareno Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 It also seemed like the kalman filter/autopilot update got reversed or smth similar as right of now missiles lead as bad as they used to. Also missiles are still quite easily going for other missiles preferred to big aircrafts 2
