hammergaming1978 Posted January 29, 2023 Posted January 29, 2023 Hello All, I'm new to this stuff so I'm asking for and a question. Is there any way to remove the exhaust pipe on the Huey. That black upturn pipe is just not looking good, I'm learning how to build a mission for Vietnam era and the Huey pipe is making my sim experience a little off, lol. I know other countries use the pipe, but for me my father was an American soldier in Vietnam and those huey's did not have it. So is there a way to remove it, edit it out by lua file, or something else, or I'm S.O.L. Thanks..

DishDoggie Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 In the discription.lua file of my custom Vietnam skins I put the bottom custom arguments in to keep the pipe and front gun mount off with the back gun mount on and the side doors open. I would only do this to your custom made skins not any DCS Hueys My custom skin below has the same custom arguments in the lua file no pipe no front gun mount side doors open. Awesome to find a Huey lover. Best of luck. 1
hammergaming1978 Posted February 1, 2023 Author Posted February 1, 2023 Thanks for the help on this, The Huey has been my all-time fav helicopter. The other one would be the Vietnam Corba. Once I found out my dad was a real G.I Joe when i was a kid and that he was in a war. I thought i was the coolest kid on the block. lol... My dad and i have a special bond I was the only one he would ever talk to about the Vietnam war and his experience. So, thank you all for the help on this.
