Trouble with MFD displays after latest Sim App Pro update...

Tried connecting with WW support on this but haven't heard anything back from them.

After the last software update, Sim App Pro only recognizes two of the three MFD displays. All three of the displays work and will show the content of the panels, however it is impossible to arrange them to fit the layout of the cockpit anymore.

Prior to the software update, my MFD displays were numbered 007, 008, and 009. After the update, only two numbers will be shown on the MFD screens. Sometimes it is 007 and 009, other times it is 008 and 009 or 007 and 008. It varies as to which screens the numbers wil show on - but it will never show all three screens numbered at the same time.

In the Windows Display settings, if I drag the screens to rearrange them, the arrangement matches what is shown in Sim App Pro, but what is actually showing in DCS doesn't match what is shown in Sim App Pro. If I go to the cockpit layout page and set each display as it should be, when I get into DCS, they are arranged differently - like the AMPCD appears on the left display, the Left MFD appears on the right display and the Left MFD displays where the AMPCD should be. If I try to re-assign them to where they should be in Sim App Pro, then when I re-launch DCS, they are still arranged improperly, but in a different configuration. It's like a card shuffle - they never appear in the same place twice and it changes every time I start DCS. Becuase you can't rearrange the screens in Sim App Pro while DCS is running, I've tried re-arranging them in the Windows Display settings... and I can get them to show on the proper MFD.. but when I go back to Sim App Pro, I can't apply that arrangement until I quit DCS, But if I quit DCS and then go to Sim App Pro and click Apply, then what switches up the arrangement from what I just set in Windows. It's nuts!

For instance, If I have the left MFD (which Sim App Pro designates as 007) set to display the left MFD content of the F-16, it will show the content of one of the other screens (either 008 or 009). If I then try to change it to the number of the display where it is actually showing, then as soon as I click "Apply" and restart DCS, it changes to another screen - but not the screen number assigned in Sim App Pro - because the software keeps shuffling the screen numbers every time I click "Apply". If I don't click "Apply" in Sim App Pro, then I get a warning from Sim App Pro to reset the displays!

Prior to the last Sim App Pro update, everything worked fine and all displays were assigned to the proper MFD in the cockpit layout page... I had all of my aircraft set up according to the layouts in the cockpit layouts page of the software - but now, no matter what I do, I cannot get them to stay on the proper screens. I've unplugged all of them, restarted, re-arranged them in Windows, re-installed Sim App Pro, but still get them arranged out of the proper order. I even tried deleteing their Windows registry entries in RegEdit and letting Windows re-discover them, but that didn't work. I've tried deleting and re-installing the winwing display LUA file and that didn't work either.

It is definitely a problem with Sim App Pro... it's not a hardware issue. No matter what I do, the arrangement of the screens never matches the arrangement in DCS.

Anyone else had a similar problem? Is there a way to download or revert a previous version of Sim App Pro? I updated it the other day from within the software so I don't have an older installer that I can revert to. Like I said, things were fine in the previous versions of the software. I've tried connecting with their tech support but that hasn't worked so I'm kinda stumped as to how to proceed now.

with the 2/3 MFD's showing up on simapp don't worry mine did that for weeks and still worked fine until one day I turned on my PC and all three were showing again.

One way to fix that is to hold the power button on your PC until it shuts down whilst your MFSs are connected. I don't know why but it works.

The new updates seem to have scrambled the way MFDs in general, not just the Winwing setups.

Hello all,

I've a similar problem, with MFD being 001/011/003 as shown on the screen itself, but 003/010/011 in SimAppro.

Screen inverted in DCS.

Any solution about it ? I can't find so much related to that.

I've done that, many time.

That's why I'm posting here.

Maybe that's only a detail, a wrong interpretation on my side about what I've been reading. That's why we get forum, no ?

So, can't figure out why I can't manage that :

7.1.6. Set MFD display screen

② Choose MFD screen (by ID number) from the drop-down menu on the three pages, "Left DDI", "AMPCD" and "Right DDI" in accordance with their exact placed/mounted positions so as toacquire the best gaming experience.

Mines appear to be red, and (checked) as written and not at the right place.

Once again, certainly an obvious reason for that, but any help welcome.

Thank you.

Click on the blank area of the drop down, then select the ID's that correspond

I am actually having the same problem. I need to switch the left DDI with the AMPCD and cannot find a way to do it.
