As an EW tech worked on the original Wild Weasel the D model...only a few survived Vietnam to make it too Germany and they were a mess. Myself, I was FGR2 (RAF). Always thought the originals were developments of the ‘C’ frame? Not ‘D’. And they REALLY shoehorned the wiring looms into them! Rapptor Posted February 5, 2023 Author Posted February 5, 2023 We only had 5 WW AC..we just labeled em D's. Got me TDY to Spain and Sicily a few times.. anything too get out of Germany in the winter.. 52TFW All the F4's were Tropical based moved to Sub freezing temps. 70% wiring issues...I know for a fact fact 555 never worked..lol 3
