Simply because I don't know where this would go, I am putting it here and hoping for an answer before one of the on-the-ball moderators moves it.

I went to a friends house and was checking the forums, and his "smilies" were animated while on this site. I thought I had everything maxed out, but mine are static pictures.

How do I enable the animations for smilies?

Yes, they are all checked, but I only get static animations and I have DSL at 6MB for my connection.

The one at their house was Internet Explorer, and that is what I use as well.

I knew they'd move this!
