Can real life A-10C have Win-Home (automated) start-up procedure?

I've been wondering why pilots can't just press a few buttons and take-off. Is it because the A-10 is an old model built before modern computers? What is the rational for still having lengthy start-up procedures?

The point of manual startup is that the pilot can check and confirm everything is functioning as desired. It gives a chance to catch somthing that might go wrong in flight and cause loss of aircraft/pilot. The pilot is not flipping switches in rapid sequence as fast as possible. They turn on a system, observe, and proceed once it's operating properly.

You can watch this video where the pilot narrates and explains what he's doing.

Automating stuff is easy enough. But it won't be reliable without multiple redundancies. Most rocket launches are automated for example.

For the same reason you don’t have one switch that turns on every piece of electronics in your house all at once. You want to be able to manually decide what you want to turn on and off. Also if something breaks you want to be able to isolate it and turn it off without causing problems. The kind of automation you are talking about comes with a lot of interconnection that makes things more complicated, costly, and more difficult to troubleshoot.

Also it makes maintenance on the jet a lot easier which means it can be done faster which means the jets can fly more missions which means they can kill more stuff. That is very important in war. More modern doesn’t always mean more complex and automated.
