fitness88 Posted February 1, 2009 Author Posted February 1, 2009 (edited) Just noticed as I was practicing EOS, as I pitched up or down why did the elevation numbers on the right side of the HUD show changing numbers? In Radar they stay fixed any ideas? There doesn't seem to be a way to set your range in EOS or is there? Edited February 1, 2009 by fitness88

104th_Crunch Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 fitness, EOS is not an overhead view like radar, it is a cross-section view out in front of you. The number on the right side of the HUD is simply your pitch angle for your plane. The same thing shown on your Attitude Display Indicator and there to help you for reference. I wish it was there in BVR mode with radar as well.

Thanks again for the clarification.
