T.EQ (temperature of equipment) yellow warning light

Hello.

Many times as I takeoff and climb to at least 5000ft, a couple of minutes later the yellow T.EQ warning indicator lights up. As I read in the manual, it means that the temperature of the electronic equipment increases above 50 deg or drops below 5 deg. The temperature scale on the right console shows it dropped below 5 deg, so I try to switch the equipment conditioning to CHAUD (warm). But I need to HOLD this switch, oterwise it returns to middle position. Is there a way to work it around? Or maybe the equipment temperature is not something I should worry about in this sim?

Hello,

You should worry about it, as it might lead to failures if it's on for a long time. In auto mode it usually works very well, have you made sure that the AUTO/MANUEL switch is on AUTO? On the other hand, if you're flying the EE I've just noticed that the HOT/COLD argument is inverted (which will be fixed), maybe that is contributing to the issue you are describing.

If none of this helps, please provide a track so we can check what is going on. Thank you.

Exactly, it happened when flying the EE version. I will check what happens when I switch to "cold" ASAP. Thanks.

UPDATE 2023-02-22

Now everything is clear, it was nothing but my mistake. I did not flip the air conditioning master switch. It looks like a pushbutton from the pilot's perspective, unlike in CE version.

Same here, I never changed the air conditioning switch to "Master." I continued to fly and witnessed everything burning out and losing all control of the airplane. Thanks for solving this. Here is an image of the proper setting, number 1, from A to M. In the F1EE, it is located on the left panel. In VR, it may be difficult to reach but possible.

Hi, glad this helped. just to clarify:

M means Marche (on in French)

A means Arret (off/stopped in French)

And then you have Manuel/Auto, which mean the same as in English but unfortunately share the same initials with Marche/Arret, potentially causing much confusion.

In general, when you read M/A in a switch in this aircraft, it means on/off.

Cheers
