Disable External views

Hi all,

 

Trying to disable external views and I am not having any luck. I have tried checking the box next to permit external view(enforce) and gone through all the options of checking and unchecking boxes.

 

Can somebody post a screenshot of what the mission options should look like if you want external views disabled?

There is an option in the options page to force all missions to abide by the options set by the GUI. If this is checked and you have externals enabled, it wont matter what the mission setting is. It can work the other way also. If you dont have the box checked in the GUI then the options set by the GUI will be different from what is set in the mission editor.

 

The best way to do it: Uncheck the box forcing the missions. Dont use the editor options only use the options page in the GUI and then save the mission when you change your options and the mission will retain those options.

Edit (What it looks like server side):

 

It depends what view: If you have map enabled and your not in pit, you get the map. If you have map disabled and your not in pit you get F11 view (airbases). If your in pit then you cant use F-2 through 10 depending if map is enabled or not...

Can you make it possible to use external views when watching a replay,track, of a multi mission that didn't allow external views?

Yeah I just experienced this problem. I like to fly single or multiplayer missions without labels, external, etc but later I want to go back and see what happened with as many goodies on as I want.

 

How do you play back a track file and override the difficulty settings?
