Use the knobs with regular inputs in the game controls. You can create stacks of controls you can cycle through.

Just jumping in for clarification on this one.  Can you use the dials as rotary controls (axis?).  i.e. dial the JHMCS up and down, or NVG Gain?

Yes. Turning left and right are different inputs so you can set them to turn up rotaries. I think it's a great addition! Useful for radio controls and stuff. You can make stacks of controls and cycle through them by pushing the knobs.

Thanks @bones1014 - Just what I needed to know.  One more technology to buy, learn, and integrate with this thing.... I'm reaching the point where I could have just bought a used Cessna.

Ok, pulled the trigger on a + and I have started building profiles.  Is there a DCS input/display profile that can be assigned to the dials?  I figured out that I can map hotkeys to CW/CCW but how about displaying something like current frequency or other live data from DCS info like you can with the buttons?

The displays above the dials aren't supported. That function would have to be added.

I figured as much.  So a plea to the devs of the dcs-interface to get this done... Or a time machine where I go back and make myself shift my ComSci major to coding instead of networking...

Revisiting this one with a new question about the +....

 

Does anyone know if it's possible to disable the swipe function of the displays above the dials?  I use it exclusively in VR and I find myself inadvertently changing pages as I'm fumbling around for the right button.  I still want to use multiple pages, but I would rather use a dedicated button to swap pages than accidentally move to another page.

I've accidentally used it too and I don't know how to disable it.
