Buznee Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Just to start, I am currently running the X52 beta drivers that resolve the right shift fix. I have trigger 1 for cannon and trigger 2 for release weapons. 1. It seems like the profiler does not seem to like alt-space for the second trigger. I've tried space-alt as well. When I run the test and I hit the second trigger, it says "menu" rather than "alt-space". For now I ended up having to change the keyboard assignment for weapon release in order for it to register properly. 2. I've been trying to get the 8 way hat to work for the skhval with no luck. I tried assigning the diagonal commands as follows ;, up left, ;/ up right ,. down left ./ down right When I try it in blackshark they do not register, but if I try pushing any of those combinations through the keyboard, it works. Not sure whats going on there.... 3. I've also tried getting the mini stick assigned to the axis controls for the skhval with no luck. 4. Can the clutch button on the throttle and the mode rotary on the stick be assigned as a standard buttons? I've tried assigning them but with no luck. When I try assigning the clutch, it goes through in the profiler but does not function in game. Instead one of the hat switch LEDs strobes in high intensity. When I tried assigning the mode switch, it does not seem like theres a feature for that on the profiler. 5. Can the detents on the throttle but adjusted/removed? I have a feeling I'll have to open up the throttle to get to that. Just find it kinda annoying that I have to push through to bottom out the collective. Thanks!
miguez Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Hi Buznee, I have a couple of answers: 2. I've been trying to get the 8 way hat to work for the skhval with no luck. The X52 throttle quadrant has a round metal knob on its left side, which is supposed to adjust the strength needed to overcome the idle and afterburner detents, give that a try.
Ramstein Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 It must be your programming because all those functions work fine on my Saitek X52 Pro. If you had a pro model you could use my profile and see. :music_whistling: Just to start, I am currently running the X52 beta drivers that resolve the right shift fix. I did adjust the round metal knob. It adjusts the friction on the throttle slider but does not change the feel on the detents. I'll try assigning the Hat straight through DCS rather than SST. Thanks!

chromium Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 All sorted now. how? can you explain please? Author of DSMC, mod to enable scenario persistency and save updated miz file Stable version & site: https://dsmcfordcs.wordpress.com/ Openbeta: https://github.com/Chromium18/DSMC The thing is, helicopters are different from planes. An airplane by it's nature wants to fly, and if not interfered with too strongly by unusual events or by a deliberately incompetent pilot, it will fly. A helicopter does not want to fly. It is maintained in the air by a variety of forces in opposition to each other, and if there is any disturbance in this delicate balance the helicopter stops flying; immediately and disastrously.
