Arming the Mustang

Is it that the "Free" version of the P51, just doesn't have some instrumentation. I tried to move on to Air to Ground. I have that switch that selects guns but that panel to the left that sets reticle/brightness just isn't there?  In my DCS Controls, there is nothing mentioning guns except gun heat.  When I try to go buy the version it says Steam incompatible.

The version of the Mustang that comes free with DCS is a TP-51 - it has no armament. It's there to give you a taster of what the systems and flight modelling fidelity is like in DCS and to allow you to decide whether or not it's your cup of tea.

If you want to be able to blow stuff up/shoot stuff down in a Mustang in DCS you'll have to purchase the DCS P-51D Mustang module: DCS: P-51D Mustang (digitalcombatsimulator.com)

Regards Steam compatibility, I do not use DCS via Steam so I cannot be of any assistance in that, however it does appear to be listed as DLC for DCS: DCS: P-51D Mustang on Steam (steampowered.com)

Everything in the ED E-Shop is incompatible to the Steam Version because you can´t transfer licenses from the standalone version over to Steam.
If you want to play the Steam version, you´ll have to buy the modules from Steam.

Ahh.... now I c. Thnx guys. Let me go c if I can purchase off Steam.
