A couple of problems: affinity and crash after exit

Hi all.

I've got a couple of problem.

 

1) sometimes (not always !!) when I set the affinity (CPU1,2,3) I'm unable to get back to 3D world: after switching to the task manager and set the affinity even if I click on the Bcs Bs application parked in the taskbar, I can hear sounds and understand the game is up and running, but I'm unable to get back into the cockpit (3D world). Frustrating !!!

This happens *ONLY* when in multiplayer.

EDIT: when I click onto the Bs application parked in the taskbar I can see the yellow cross indicating the mouse pointer inside the game ... but obviously I'm unable to click on switches or esc the game and start again.

 

2) sometimes when a finish a mission and disconnect from the server (multi), the game crashes.

 

My hardware configuration is:

- Motherboard: Gigabyte P35C-DS3R

- RAM: 4 GB DDR2 1066 Mhz

- CPU : Intel Quad Core 4 X 2.4 GHz

- VGA: NVidia GeForce 9600GT (latest NVidia Drivers)

- Windows vista Ultimate 32 bit

- Russian version of Dcs BS

- Saitek X52

 

Obviously I have *NO* problems with other games (Falcon4Af, Fs9, FsX, racing ... ), so an hardware failure /incompatibility should be excluded.

 

Any help will be very appreciated.

CPU affinity option is included in config files for 1.0.1 patch and we hope this will help you.

 

Error on exiting MP game is fixed in 1.0.1 and we hope this fix will be available in official patch too.

hmm i think i am gonna do some sniffing in those config files :P

In another thread someone said if you had problems setting the affinity and getting back into the game just hit esc or pause the game befoer you alt tab out.
