I'm having a hell of a time with the hmd.  In Hacq or Lhaq.

On practice missions it seems to work fine, but in GS (Multiplayer) I can look right at the target and it doesn't lock.  (I know.. track file.  I'll have to find one)

Sometimes where it identifies the "bad guy" is no where near the actual plane.   However, it will not lock on the plane

Anyone else having difficulty?

I have increased my track age to 32.

4bar 140.  (I don't think that has anything to do with HMD) since it reverts back to 1bar.

The datalink contacts are also not always exactly where the real planes are. You can circle around where it should be a bit to get a lock. And sometimes it just doesn't work and you have to switch to a different method. It's not very reliable for BVR, so better to be flexible 😉

I found the ACM modes quite inconsistent in the hornet. With LACQ for example I couldn't get a lock on a bandit I saw right infront of me but I could see him on the radar after giving up on LACQ. Maybe it was his maneuvering but I don't know.

This is true at least in GS. There's delay in DL. My trick (or cheat ?) is to use zoom to clarify the bandit is actually there.
