Shot Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 Hello, another occasion in which I can't repair my AH64. This time because the engines supposedly were still running: Engine indications were all at 0 Before I asked for repair, I made sure the APU is off, cockpit open (this worked before on the same server plenty of times) After I could not repair, I tried all kind of combinations with APU on, door closed, whater... nothing worked. Not being able to repair is really very frustrating as you try to save your life/vehicle, crawl back to a FARP and then ... just to press the respawn button? Last week I had similar issue, I could repair but not start the engine anymore. Isn't it just possible to RESET the whole thing during a repair in a similar fashion to when I'd respawn? This would solve all related issues at once. Link to track file is here: https://www.primusnetz.de/cloud/index.php/s/c9Jvfik10vVb9co Regards, Shot 1

CervO Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 (edited) Hi, I was thinking this bug was well known and being adressed. It is one of the most frustrating one not being able to repair. I don't have a track but I can add that in my case I try to repair only after one engine is out. Not sure if there is a link but EACH time I try to repair with one engine out I have the same behaviour as described by shot, meaning the engine out doesn't really stop, you can still hear a light engine noise by the way and there's nothing to do about it. So the ground crew will refuse the repair asking to shut down engines ... Edited April 16, 2023 by CervO

I use the Auto Shutdown feature mines bound to LWin+End. The auto shutdown goes as far as it can to get an off engine condition. Then tells you what's up in an on screen display. Normally your left power lever will be in the off position but the right power lever is in the idle position and won't move. Bring the left back to Idle and then use the Auto Shutdown key bind again and it should now shut down both power levers and kill the engine for you. Then just radio in a repair request and with the rotor stopped the crew will come. Hope I explained that correctly? Skal!

Didn't try it yet myself but it seems very reasonable
