simo-dj Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 Hello everybody, i often stumble in instagram on pics of RNLAF Apaches and i am wondering what the pods mountend on both wingtips are. Can anyone tell me what's their function? Thanks a lot! "If you low&slow you're BBQing, if you hot&fast you're grilling, if you low&fast you're flying an Apache"

Solution Sinclair_76 Posted April 4, 2023 Solution Posted April 4, 2023 (edited) That's the AMASE pod for certain. To be complete this helicopter is having it's rotor tracked and balanced. The camera to track the blades is mounted on the front part of the left EFAB. Edited April 4, 2023 by Sinclair_76 1
