Autopilot not working in BALT mode

Hi,

After a while i restarted flying the F18. A new computer etc.

Now one thing that is not working as it used to work is the AP - BALT.

I simply push AP then BALT. As i remember this would do the job in the F18. Am i missing something? I can see the word 'autopilot' in the left screen, but no vertical stripe (of activation) is seen left of BALT and the plane slowly falls down, so it is not working properly. Maybe i forgot about some switch after some months... Tia for any pointers.

The stick needs to be dead center. If BALT doesn't engage, move your stick a tiny bit to get it to the center, or increase the deadzone.

That (increasing deadzone) did the job! Awesome. Devil is in the detail once again
