Hello everybody.

I want to be enlightened about a question on Digital Combat Simulaion so here it goes.

I have a previous DCS version because my machine is a bit hold but i want to buy the latest DCS products

How could it be possible to do that if i cant do that.

because the different DCS versions make that impossible. Could it be possible to do different product versions for every DCS version.

Hi,

If you have a DCS login it can be used on all versions of DCS, just update login with your DCS login and you are good to go on the latest version.

you can download the latest version of DCS here https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/world/ or just update your old one

thanks

I think you are asking if you can get the newer modules for use on older versions of DCS (which you are using due to hardware limitations meaning you can't run current version of DCS)?

Not possible.  In the case of the newer modules, most of them couldn't be ported back to older versions of DCS because the older versions don't have some of the functions they require to run.  On top of that, the development time to maintain backward compatibility for older DCS versions (even if they actually could, which is doubtful) wouldn't make financial sense for ED (very small numbers of users using old versions)
