Loving the campaign so far. One thing - laser mavs often don’t search, lock or fire. Sometimes the first mav is ok (I see the X in hud. Uncage. It sweeps and locks on to laser lighting target). often the second mav doesn’t work - there is no X in hud. I’ve tried switching weapons and going back to mavs. Tried going to nav mode then back to A2G. Laser off then back on. Can’t work out what’s going on. Often have to give up using mavs.
anyone else experience this?
Not sure if this is a DCS bug or related to missions? Thanks.

It won't be campaign related as all the lasing is self designated, but maybe someone else can offer any insight?

Seems to be working in a test mission I made. Will try again - must be user error?! Thanks

@Solemn-laugh,  I noticed this as well.  What worked for me was after the first target splashed, I Sensor Select Switch FWD LONG again to see the second mav and CAGE/UNCAGE'ed it.  If you cage it and uncage it again you will notice the X reposition Sometimes high, sometimes low.  I'm sure there is a reason but the AV-8B is a hodgepodge of systems thrown in an airframe in hopes it work together and to ensure the pilot continues to read the NATOPS manual before every flight 🙂.  Once the X was in the place I liked it (center low HUD) I would CAGE it there for the second run.  Then when I run in, I activate the laser and then SSS FWD Long and uncage (with the x near the spot).  This left little time to wait for the Mav to find its new friend.

phillik's solution doesn't work for me unfortunately. I was able to use only one LMAV in one of the previous missions (M6?) and now again in M9. They work as they should in a testing scenario.

Ok, I also noticed a weird issue in mission 2 that I thought was user error until I saw this thread. No Mavs in that mission though, just dumb bombs. The first one dropped and exploded, but subsequent runs on the target seemed to drop only dud bombs with no visible detonation. The fuse was not set to SAFE on the armament panel. I'm not sure what I would have done incorrectly.
