Radio transmission after touchdown. How?

Hello,

maybe it is easy, but i'm still not a ME Pro so i ask here:

I want to get an welcome Radio transmission after ending the mission and touchdowning on my base.

OK, everything clear, when i enter a trigger zone, i make a radio transission, no problem. but the problem is, that i tner the trigger zone when i take off already, and the radio transmission starts. is it possible to let a trigger zone spawn or activate after (for example) 5 minutes in the mission, when i already started?

Greeting

What I would do is make a trigger that turns a flag on once you're airborne or are on approach (personally I would choose the latter). Then for your welcome trigger zone I would add the condition "flag is true" set to the flag you set to come on once you were airborne/on approach.

The easier way (though perhaps a less desireable way) is to add a "time more" condition to the trigger that activates your welcome transmission. Set it to a time between after you expect to have taken off and before you land (note that the time more condition uses seconds for the time, so you'll need to enter 60 for a minute and 3600 for an hour). This way the "time more" condition should only be true after you've taken off but before you've landed. This one doesn't offer much in the way of flexibility however (if you arrive before the set time, the trigger won't activate and if you depart later than the set time the trigger will activate before you've landed).

Ok, i give it a try. Flag=On 1 when entering a trigger zone after take-off. and unit in zone for radio transmission trigger and Flag=1 on for Transmission.

Exactly.

I've added a bit more detail to my post and I can provide an example if need be.

If you aren't too proud to use scripting, it's quickly done. In the attached mission, take off, and eventually land in Senaki. The "welcome" flag is changed when you return to the airfield

The particulars are set in the "Welcoming Zone" trigger zone attributes

- this is how DML works; and this is then detected by a a standard trigger in your mission. The 'LZ' module (and its many siblings) can do a lot more for you, but I wanted to keep this example as simple as possible.

Maybe another short question. I made a transportmission with 2 Excort F5 which i have to intercept and destroy. But the F5s (both veterans) are ignoring me more or less. I just kill everybody like a wolf within sheeps. When the transports are down 2 F16 take of to intercept me, but even this flight ist noch shooting with rockets on me...

Why?

This could be down to multiple factors. So long as it's okay with you, it would be useful to have the mission file to really troubleshoot it effectively, because this could be down to multiple factors.
